Session: Establishing a Code of Conduct and Response Team for Your Global Open Source Project

Once upon a time, most open source projects didn’t have codes of conduct. That’s changing today! Which leads open source enthusiasts to a new challenge: how do we respond when faced with behavior against our code of conduct? In this talk, we’ll explore how the WordPress community adopted a code of conduct and prepared a global group of volunteers to take and respond to incident reports. We’ll also examine steps taken to align all code of conduct work with open source values. You’ll learn how you can also bring a proactive approach to codes of conduct in your open source project.
